Hey, so you’ve found my About Me page!  Since you’re here, I guess you want to know a bit more about me?  Okay, so here it is:

I absolutely love to read.  My biggest weakness is books – I have to have them, I can’t get enough of them!  It gives me a great feeling to look at the different titles and authors bursting out of my bookcases and know that there’s such a rich and varied range of topics that I will never be someone who says “I’ve got nothing to read!”  I also love the fact that by having all these books, it encourages my children to read and they’re already almost as passionate as I am about reading.

I live in Derbyshire with my partner, and children (five together and 2 of his sons) which makes for a hectic life!.

I didn’t grow up in Derbyshire, I was born in Wirral (otherwise known as the posh part across the water from Liverpool!) but moved to Surrey, then London to be with my partner and now we’ve moved to Derbyshire.

Among my other interests (besides reading), I run a forum for Community Administrators ( Admin Extra) and I love to write.

It’s a Book Blog has been designed to fulfil my love of books, and to give me the ability to share my views on the books I’ve read, intend to read and my general love of reading.is another passion of mine and a place to share with you my love of reading.

I review every book I read, be it a children’s book I’m reading with one of my kids, a parenting book, a computer related text book, YA book, fiction, memoir, non-fiction. You name it, I read it, and I will review it!
